After 3 days of camping in Torres del Paine we arrived in Puerto Natales. We were lucky with the weather in the national park – only yesterday night it was raining and windy as I haven’t had it before. Puerto Natales is the only city (which you can actually call city) besides Punta Arenas in Southern Patagonia. Puerto Natales is the gateway to Torres del Paine – which is 120 km away. PN actually consists only of hostels and shops where you can buy outdoor equipment. It is the last place where you can find a supermarket, an ATM or refill your tank before entering the national park.
…happy to have a shower and a bed…
…happy to have some warm food and wine
