Second day in BA

Teresa doesn’t write much, I guess I’ll have to make up for her 😉 Yesterday was great, we walked a lot to see the nicest neighbourhoods: Puerto Madero, San Telmo, Palermo… We had a very good dinner in an Uruguayan restaurant, where an old waiter convinced me to drink a fantastic Cabernet Sauvignon from Argentina instead of the “horrible” Malbec (I had it today, he was right…).
Returning from Palermo to the hotel by bus was an interesting adventure: we had to guess which bus to take, the fare was to be paid in coins only, and of course we had none,  so we relied on a nice guy who told us he badged for us. We still don’t know if it’s true… A nice elderly lady spoke to us in Spanish for the whole ride and we did our best to keep up.
Today we visited La Boca, nice but a little too touristic for our taste. It was warm, as well: over 30ºC 🙂
This evening we had a walk in Recoleta, and we had a good beer in the Buenos Aires Design complex. Quilmes is really good… Let’s not talk about the dinner, though 🙁
